From Excavation to Nutrition
After years working in the excavation business, where the work was seasonal and weather-dependent, I knew I needed a change, but I wasn’t sure what that change should be. The uncertainty of what came next was stressful and I spent many sleepless nights trying to figure it out.
One day, while talking with a friend about the little things in life we wish someone would improve, his wife overheard us and said, “If you can make a pea protein that actually tastes good, I’d love it!” That simple comment stuck with me. Having dealt with lactose sensitivity myself, the idea of creating a delicious, plant-based protein felt like the perfect challenge to take on.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Building Nutraflav hasn't been easy. Supplier delays, months of packaging revisions, and other setbacks slowed us down — but they never stopped us. From the start, our mission was simple: create a protein powder that tasted great and was made with ingredients you can feel good about.
Our pea protein is grown and processed in North America specifically for its taste and texture — unlike many other brands that use byproducts from the overseas starch industry. The result is something you can trust, free from artificial fillers and made to truly fuel your body.
