From Excavation to Nutrition
After years working in the excavation business, where the work was seasonal and weather-dependent, I knew I needed a change, but I wasn’t sure what that change should be. The uncertainty of what came next was stressful, and I spent many sleepless nights trying to figure it out.
One day, while talking with a friend about business ideas, his wife overheard us and said, "If you can come up with a pea protein that actually tastes good, I’d love it!"
That simple comment stuck with me. As someone who experienced lactose intolerance, the idea of creating a great-tasting, plant-based protein made perfect sense.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
Building Nutraflav wasn’t easy. There were supplier delays and endless back-and-forth with packaging designs that lasted over 7 months. Despite these setbacks, we were clear on one thing: we wanted to create a product that not only tasted great but was also free from the empty calories and artificial ingredients that are often found in many processed foods today. We weren’t interested in just another product to add to the clutter — we wanted to give people something they could trust, something that didn’t just fill them up but nourished their bodies.
