Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars - A Spring Delight

Ingredients

1 ½ cups almond flour

2 scoops Nutraflav Chocolate Pea Protein Powder

⅓ cup maple syrup

¼ cup avocado oil

½ cup peanut butter

¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Topping

½ cup chocolate chips

1 tsp coconut oil or avocado oil

How to Make It

Mix almond flour, protein powder, maple syrup, avocado oil, & peanut butter until a thick dough forms.

Fold in chocolate chips & press mixture into a parchment-lined pan.

Freeze for about 1 hour until firm

Melt chocolate chips with avocado oil (or coconut oil).  Spread melted chocolate over chilled peanut butter mixture.  

Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate is hardened.  Slice & enjoy!

Make It Your Own

  • Add dye-free sprinkles in place of optional chocolate chips in the peanut butter mixture for a colorful bar for kids!
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top of chocolate for even more flavor

Storage Tips

Store in the refrigerator for up to four days.
