Tired of the grocery store’s chemical-laden 40 ingredient sweet treats?  Make your own with these high protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs using Nutraflav Vanilla Pea Protein Powder.  With just peanut butter and protein powder as the base, there’s no need to feel inflamed from the use of seed oils that are in the store bought big brands!  Make these for your Easter gathering or really anytime that a sweet treat is needed.

Why You Will Love This Recipe

  1. Simple ingredients that are already in your pantry
  2. Quick to throw together
  3. No seed oils = no inflammation

Ingredients

Peanut Butter Egg:

⅓ cup peanut butter

⅓ cup Nutraflav Vanilla Pea Protein Powder

Chocolate Coating:

½ cup chocolate chips

1 tsp coconut oil

How to Make It

Line a baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter and protein powder.  It should be a thick dough-like consistency.  Form dough into an egg shape and place on parchment paper.  Place in the freezer for thirty minutes.  Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil either in the microwave or on the stovetop.  Once melted, take eggs out of the freezer and dip each egg into the chocolate.  Once all eggs are covered in chocolate, place them back on the parchment paper and into the freezer for another hour or two to set.  Enjoy!

Make It Your Own

Sprinkle dye-free sprinkles on top of melted chocolate eggs for a more colorful egg!

Storage Tips

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.  They also freeze well!
